User research project for a tailored women suit brand
Project type: User Research, UX Design
Role:UX Researcher
Project Background
This project was developed for the Usability & Human Interaction course at Northeastern University.
Objective
The goal was to help a tailored women's suit brand address the issue of tailored suits having weaker competitiveness compared to ready-to-wear clothing. My team conducted comprehensive user research and provided digital solutions for the brand.
Project Workflow
Research Planning: Defined the project scope, identified key research questions, and developed a framework to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of the target audience.
Interview: Conducted in-depth interviews with potential customers to gather insights about their expectations, challenges, and behavior when purchasing tailored suits.
Analysis: Synthesized interview data to identify recurring themes, user personas, and key insights. Mapped customer journeys to highlight specific pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Design: Created wireframes for a website that integrates special features to meet users' needs.

The Results
This project achieved an A grade in the course and received high praise from both the instructor and the client for its strong and detailed execution. The emphasis on redefining the price range and the creative design of the 3D models received high praise from the client.
