Website design for a fitness gym
Project Background
This project was completed for the Interactive Information Design course at Northeastern University.
Objective
The goal of this project is to create a website that clearly highlights the gym's services, products, and brand features, with the aim of attracting more potential customers. The deliverables included website design, dashboard design, and mobile design, each created with a focus on usability, accessibility, and visual cohesion.
Project Workflow
Brand Research: Analyze the website structure, content, and visual elements of the brand's competitors, and organize the brand's existing story and service offerings.
User Research: Conducted user research and created target user personas, and analyzed their goals, pain points, and needs.
Wireframing: Established the website’s structure and main content.
UI Design: Determined the color palette, typography, visual elements, and components.

User Research

Wireframes
Wireframes are the first step in the design process. They outline content, establish structure for each page, and define hierarchy through size and positioning. This ensures the design tells a clear story before moving on to color mockups.

Visual Style Guide
Visual Style Guide establishes the overall visual identity of the project. It outlines the colors, visual elements, interactive components, fonts, and other key elements that will be used throughout the design process.
